To marry legally in France, at least one partner must be a resident and registered at the local Mairie prior to the wedding. Some churches may conduct religious ceremonies for international couples without civil registration. As a result, most couples complete the legal formalities in their home country and choose a symbolic ceremony in France, allowing them to focus fully on the celebration without legal constraints.

Our Approach To Planning A French Alps wedding

Every wedding we design in the French Alps begins with listening. In a mountain setting, true luxury is found in balance, between nature and comfort, structure and freedom, elegance and authenticity. Our role is to create celebrations that feel immersive, fluid, and grounded in their surroundings.

Our planning approach is:

  • Bespoke – each celebration is designed from the ground up, never replicated

  • Landscape-led – the mountains, season, and altitude shape the rhythm and experience

  • Refined yet meaningful – understated aesthetics rooted in your story and the setting

  • Discreet and steady – so you can stay present and fully enjoy the journey

Whether you are planning an intimate mountain elopement or a multi-day celebration in a luxury chalet or alpine estate, we guide you through every step with clarity, care, and a deep understanding of the region.
