Nadine and Will's three-day French Riviera wedding extravaganza was nothing short of fabulous. With Nadine and her best friends flying in on a private jet from the UK, and Will and the boys arriving in a gorgeous Ferrari, the fun had already begun even before the festivities started.
The Welcome Party
The weekend kicked off with a cocktail hour at a seaside Art Deco hotel. Friends and family, some of whom hadn't seen each other in ages, reunited to celebrate in style. Sunset drinks and canapés overlooking the sparkling water created a romantic yet laid-back atmosphere. A live jazz band, grandma’s funny speech, and heartfelt words from dear friends set the tone for the weekend: elegance, love, and fun.
Pre-Wedding Festivities
The following day, the boys' shenanigans started in Monte Carlo, while Nadine and the girls pampered themselves at the hotel with gifts, champagne, and of course, traditional hair and make-up. The excitement and anticipation built up as the hours passed, preparing everyone for the big day.
The Ceremony
Nadine and Will exchanged vows in the famous gardens of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a venue offering jaw-dropping panoramic views of the French coast and gardens with exotic flowers from around the world. The bride’s father, a collector of high-end cars, provided two Ferraris for the grand entrance. Will and his best man arrived in a blue Ferrari, while Nadine was driven by her father in a red vintage one.
Guests were greeted with a welcome glass of champagne overlooking one of the most beautiful bays on the Riviera before moving up to the gardens for the start of the ceremony. A floating stage was set up for the fountains, where Nadine and Will exchanged their vows under a beautifully garnished floral arch.
Special Moments
A surprise during the ceremony was arranged by Nadine’s mom, who organized the release of two turtle doves to symbolize new beginnings, peace, fidelity, love, luck, and prosperity. However, given Nadine’s long-standing fear of birds, her reaction was priceless and turned into a funny, lighthearted moment that everyone will remember.
The Reception
As the sun set, the cocktail hour concluded, and the reception began. Held outdoors, the reception featured musicians who visited and sang with each table, creating an intimate and lively atmosphere. Guests enjoyed exquisite dining and celebrated with the couple as a live English band played their favorite tunes throughout the night.
The Post-Wedding Beach Party
The celebration didn’t end with the wedding night. The next day, an all-day post-wedding beach party continued the festivities. With a live DJ accompanied by a female saxophone player, Captain Jack Sparrow pouring rum, dancing on tables, good food, good vibes, and good times, the party was a perfect end to an unforgettable wedding weekend.
