As a little girl, she told her father that she hoped to one day marry there. On the sunny morning of the wedding day, and before the intensity of the celebrations, Lizzey and Nick chose to share an enjoyable moment of complicity together. They had an intimate and fun photoshoot set against the backdrop of the crystal-clear sea and iconic French Riviera cliffs. The couple radiated a timeless 60s romance, embodying the effortless elegance of Brigitte Bardot.
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the picturesque Jardins de Volupté, a garden with breathtaking views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Under a clear blue sky, and surrounded by a gorgeous, opulent flowers, Lizzey and Nick exchanged vows in an emotional ceremony led by the bride’s brother. The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat serenity added a magical touch to their special moment, sublimated by the sound of a talented string duet.
The Reception
After an entertaining cocktail hour, rhythmed by a talented roaming band, the guests were escorted to the dinner location in a musical cortege. The reception took place at Club Dauphin, located at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. Renowned for its iconic infinity pool and breathtaking views, the hotel provided a magnificent backdrop for the event. Guests enjoyed an exceptional dining experience at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Cap, where gourmet dishes were prepared with the finest local ingredients. Instead of the traditional American wedding cake, they opted for a typical French dessert: the succulent Mille-feuille. The fairy lights added this magical and romantic décor, and along with a flawless service, the evening was unforgettable.
The Celebration
As the evening unfolded, guests reveled in an unforgettable dance party by the pool. The energetic beats of the DJ, accompanied by a talented saxophonist, set the stage for a House music vibe that kept everyone dancing late into the night. The poolside, with its stunning views and refreshing breeze, provided the ideal backdrop for the celebration. Disco balls and guests’ enthusiasm created the perfect vibe as Nick joined the DJ’s decks for an incredibly fun time. The night concluded with guests taking a spontaneous dip(fully dressed!) in the pool, adding a fun and memorable highlight to the event.
