Antibes, French Riviera

Bastide du Roy

Perched in the hills above Antibes, La Bastide du Roy is a 17th-century Provençal estate rich with history and timeless elegance. Once a royal gift to Henri IV and later home to Jeanne Lanvin and guests like Mick Jagger, the bastide blends artistic legacy with Riviera charm. Today, it welcomes couples seeking a luxurious and romantic setting for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

The estate is composed of seven beautifully distinct event spaces designed to host every moment of a wedding; from the ceremony to dinner and dancing. The French Garden, inspired by Versailles and framed by olive trees, sets a refined tone for cocktails or a welcome drink. Ceremonies come to life in the circular Music Garden, centered around an 18th-century Neptune fountain. Guests can then enjoy a relaxed cocktail hour in the serene Spanish Garden, before moving to the Pool Garden with panoramic views for sunset photos or a post-wedding brunch.

As evening falls, the celebration continues in the Cour d’Honneur, facing the villa’s historic façade, or under the Pavillon des Oliviers, a 400m² covered space nestled among centuries-old trees; perfect in all weather conditions. With candlelit tables, twinkling market lights, and sweeping views of Biot and the Baie des Anges, the atmosphere is both grand and intimate.
